San Jose offered 20th, 49th and 3rd for 14th
then offered 20th and 2 2nds for 14th and CBJ's 4th.
Interesting to note that Columbus GM said the "value chart" says the 1st offer was a good deal by a hair. So i guess some GM's do use a system to value NHL draft picks.
Buffalo offered 16 and 38 to move up to 14 and then took the deal off the table when Domi was taken

Habs wanted #19; would they have taken Poirier that high?

Rychel was a good value pick in my opinion.
Puts up points, has size, and plays a tough game

Also interesting that they tried to line up some trades to move down from 27th for 2 2nds but Edmonton and Buffalo were non-committal.
Probably same response Feaster got for 28th.

the Sharks really wanted to move up; offered packages that included #20 to get #14 here, or #16 in the Buffalo draft video; ultimately traded #20 to Detroit for #18

Yes they were very high on Mueller. Their head of amatuer scouting was on the Pipeline show and explained how they are using Corsi numbers to evaluate draft eligible juniors.

Now I really want to see the shark video to see what they were after. They're usually quite good at picking up the diamonds in the rough

If more and more of these keep popping up, waiting until the season starts again isn't so bad.

The one from 2011 kind of just follows Backlund around though. I'd like to see the organizational side more.

From that list:
Player/CBJ #/Actual draft #/ +/- vs CBJ Ranking
Shinkaruk/27/24/+3
Hartman/28/30/-2
Klimchuk/29/28/+1
McCarron/30/25/+5
Pulock/31/15/+16
Hagg/32/41/-9
Petan/33/43/-10
Dauphin/34/39/-5
Carrier/35/57/-22
Compher/36/35/+1
McCoshen/37/31/+6
Heatherington/38/50/-12
Santini/39/42/-3
Theodore/40/26/+14
Bjorkstrand/41/89/-48
So Columbus did not think of Pulock very highly, and put a lot more value into Bjorkstrand than his draft status would indicate.

Petan isn't a finesse forward, he's "special". LOL.

Looks like they strayed from BPA at #50 where they took Heatherington despite having Carrier (#57) ranked higher. CBJ had Carrier 35 and Heatherington 38 based on sureLoss' photo. Probably a result of taking 3 forwards in the first round.
