Nico Rosberg's dad won the Monaco GP 30 years before Nico did, he also was leading the race from start to finish, just like Nico.

What is God's name is going on with McLaren?! I suspect the exodus of technical staff has finally caught up with them, similar to what happened to Williams in the past...

Yeah, good question. They seem to have lost some important people from the engineering team, because no way they can take a huge step back like that in one season.

I did not like Vettel's move one bit... why would you risk crashing and taking yourself, and potentially your teammate out of the race? Especially when you're 15 laps from finishing.

You'd think that he learned his lesson in Turkey in 2010 when he tried to take Webber and ended up crashing into him.

I kind of like that Vettel took the initiative and took the win, because after all: This is a race, it's not fair for people who BET for winners and they lose the bet just because the team told them not to win.

Whether you agree with team orders or not is beside the point. The fact is it is a team sport, and Vettel disobeyed a direct team order, which is unacceptable (he off course claims he wasn't aware, but I find that very hard to believe).

Just like he is always trying to set fastest lap when he has a huge lead and is told to cruise to the finish and ignores them. Vettel couldn't care less about the orders and that is why I love him. Anybody at Red Bull caught off guard by what he did must have been sleeping through the rest of his career. Beside he tried to play the team game earlier in that race when they should have been getting Webber out of his way on slower tyres while Mercedes were gaining ground on them. But they were ignoring him so they ignored him first and he ignored them back when he finally had enough. Not to mention how much of a hypocrite Webber is being. Who also cost Vettel the championship in the last race last season again? And after that botched start who later also tried to race Vettel (And stood no chance) later in the race when he was being ordered not to? Who is he to make a big deal about Vettel taking the win he should have had in the second race of the season when he was doing that in the final race of the season that would decide the champion?

Why they were even treating Webber like a #1 driver and Vettel like a #2 driver to make this an issue is beyond me. Who is the three time defending world champion that will be competing for it again this season? Webber seems like more of a pain to deal with which is all I can see. Especially in a race where Alonso went out early which made the extra points big for Vettel. And Hamilton showed the team order nonsense isn't good for anybody since he couldn't enjoy his podium finish knowing the team orders screwed Nico. Need to go back to banning team orders and get back to real racing which Vettel seems to be the only one interested in doing.

I also can't stand people that call this a team sport. It isn't a team sport at all. The main prize you are competing for is the Drivers Championship which is for an individual. Team sports are about a team competing for a team prize. The Drivers Championship is the Stanley Cup and the Constructor's Championship is the President's Trophy. And when it comes down to the Constructor's Championship what Vettel did changed nothing. He competed for what he has won the last three seasons and wants again. Good on him!

As for McLaren their car looked much better last race and they just botched a pit stop which for whatever reason they seem to do year after year. By far the worst pit crew in F1 and I don't understand why it happens to them every season. Surely they would have replaced pit crew members and are not using the same guys the keep botching them right?

Personally never liked them signing Perez either. Hulk would have been a much better choice to me. Perez didn't even pick up a single point after signing with McLaren which shows they jumped the gun on him. Reminds me far too much of Maldonado with how careless he can be.

No different than last year at this point, which is good, last season was interesting, and this season is shaping up to be a rather interesting one too.

Keke Rosberg won the Monaco Grand Prix 30 years ago and now it's his son's turn. Nico Rosberg wins the 2013 prestige Monaco Grand Prix from start to finish.

Jenson Button doesn't really care for Sergio Pérez as someone in motorsports tweeted as they talked last year. After today I bet he really won't like him.
