Default Mt. Edith Cavell and Angel Glacier

I'd heard that a large portion of Cavell glacier fell off the mountain last summer, and that road to Mt. Edith Cavell may still be closed and/or the trail to Cavell Meadows could be washed out.

Anyone been up that way this summer? Was it just Cavell glacier, or did Angel glacier come down too?

From their FB page, as far as the road goes:

Jasper National Park
June 14

Visitors to the park will be happy to know that the Edith Cavell Road is now open. Dramatic changes have occurred since the 1950's to the landscape and of course since last year, so get out and see it with your own eyes - just remember to stick to the designated trails and follow the safety signs
I believe it was just the Cavell Glacier that fell.

I am heading up August long to check it out. I am amazed no one was killed. If it occurred a few hours earlier hundreds of people would have been wiped out.

Also there are two glacier erratics (big rocks) from the Cavel Glacier in Bridlewood.
