I forgot about this guy. He can play bottom pairing minutes so good deal for the Jets.

I still can't figure out what Nieuwendyk was thinking when he gave him $2 million a year for 2 years.
Good value if he can stick in the NHL, and if they send him to the AHL, he'll be close to home.

Wiinipeg's Defense
Byfuglien 6-5 265-300
Bogosian 6-3 215
Stuart 6-2 213
Clitsome 5-11 215
They needed to sign Pardy 6-4 226 to balance out the 2 small guys as Enstrom 5-10 180 and Trouba 6-1 183
And I was getting hopeful when the Flames got SOB that their D was getting bigger and tougher.
So far that make SOB as the only Flame that is as big as the Jets 5 biggest in their top 7.
Well Gio is almost as big as their 5th biggest guy Clitsome.
I hope that Ramo is really Rambo and is fearless and can protect himself.

Not a bad #7 guy and now that his contract reflects that, it's a good signing.

After all the frenzied madness this is a reasonable deal.

Well that's a little more reasonable for him, lol. Closer to what he should have gotten last time too.

I'm a little surprised it's a one-way contract but good for him. As for Winnipeg, at the start of 2013 season, it's tied for the tallest team in the league and 4th heaviest.
Calgary was the 23rd tallest and 30th heaviest. Maybe we've moved up a little.

They had Postma on the blueline last year too, old Hitmen player. I thought he looked pretty solid in the few games I watched. Thought they had lots of depth on D. Be interested to see who makes the team.

Ok, i will say it.
I would rather have Pardy at $600,000 than Butler at $1,700,000 for my 6th or 7th defenceman.
