IIRC, an earlier tweet said police had someone in connection with the murder. Not sure if it was an arrest, or just questioning.

No, that was Dave Rutherford, who was already retiring from his gig.
Billy Powers used to be the head of QR's sports department, but retired a while ago, iirc.

To be clear - he was forced into retirement. He didn't want to leave. Similar to Rutherford.
I think the Stamps still have a spot up in their press box that Billy could use whenever he wanted.

Huh, totally unexpected. When I used to do MNF back a few years ago he was always hosting at Peanuts and was always a pretty funny and likeable guy.
