Sounds like Horton is in Columbus (prep for in person press conference?) so that takes that market away from Iginla.

Now maybe Iginla ends up in NYI so he can play with Tavares.

Flames sign Fistric 2 years @ 1,005,000 /year $5,000 more than the Oiler offer and he turns out like Glencross.

if we can get grabo for a decent price and a short term - i'd give him a chance playing on the flamers. he wants to prove himself and wants more responsibility. he'd get a shot at both here. his euro style could mesh well with some of the kids.

Tons of cap space and few roster spots. They're going to spend what it takes on reasonable term deals to get the players they want. In each players case I would argue those are fair prices. Likely on the lower end of what I posted will happen but overpaying a by million is a possibility.

It's not that catastrophic if the term is lower.
