His goal totals plummeted in 5 consecutive seasons before he was out of the NHL: 56, 37, 23, 12, 5. All in 60+ games. Incredible story.

His recent numbers in the AHL seem to be pretty good, though. Surprised to see he didn't get one last crack at the NHL with a two-way contract.

A real shame about this guy. Even before he won his Rocket, he was a real great success story just by making it to the NHL. Judging by his declining stats, you'd think this guy was almost 40. Only 33 seeing the decline he had is quite sad.
