Default Thank you Kipper

Whether he stays or goes I think he deserves this thread regardless. The best goalie to ever dress as a Flame, and the last remaining player of the 03/04 team, he will always be my personal fav Flame. All the best to you Miikka and thanks for all the great memories. Discuss your most memorable Kipper moments. For me it's his first game 2-1 vs the Habs, i instantly was hooked.

My favourite moment live was the save he made on Vancouver ( Wellwood). I was sitting in that section and i could not get the image of that stick save out of my mind for days.

I haven't had the chance to see him live unfortunately, the Flames always seem to play their backup here

Far more emotional about him than I was with Iggy. I don't think any of us really know what he meant to this team and it's fanbase over the years.

Thank you Kipper.

Better be a legit retirement and not that 'Forever a Flame' crap ... that's all I'm saying.

It's not like he ever announced his retirement, you know. The last few minutes were pretty sad to watch, though. Everyone clapping, you could see the smile on his face through the mask.. it's hard to watch thinking that very well may be the last game we see him play at home. Although it might not be. Keep that in mind.

The man just quietly did his job. The Flames always had a chance of winning with Kipper in net. Shame we never got to see him win the Cup.

If this is it, thanks for everything #34.

Hopefully he comes back, easily the greatest goalie in Flames history. His number should be retired, if he is done.
