				 World Cup GDT: June 18th

			Wednesday June 18th
 10:00 AM Australia (62, 0-0-1) vs. Netherlands (15, 1-0-0) (Group B)
 1:00 PM Spain (1, 0-0-1) vs. Chile (14, 1-0-0) (Group B)
 4:00 PM Cameroon (56, 0-0-1) vs. Croatia (18, 0-0-1) (Group A)

Numbers in brackets are FIFA ranking followed by W-D-L.

 -----------------

"Match day two" continues in groups A and B.

Australia and Spain can mathematically survive with a loss - but only if the other wins. They also survive with a draw, regardless of what the other does.
Chile and the Netherlands qualify if they win and the other at least draws. For Cameroon and Croatia, a loss knocks them out. They survive with a draw.

I am cheering for the Socceroos, the Dutch folk I know getting a little arrogant after that first performance.

I think this is the first day where I have no real preferences as to who wins any of the games.
Other than of course Socceroos winning Netherlands would be an awesome upset, but it's so unlikely that I can't really get behind that idea.

Seeing the Spanish get roasted by the Dutch counter-attack, I dont know if Pique/Ramos can handle the speed of the Chilean attack.
Then again, they'll probably go back to just holding the ball until they get a penalty and then holding the ball until the clock runs out.

It could be a great game or boring as all hell.

I sense some jealousy.

Anyways, hope for no scoreless ties today.
