Panthers Welcome Jack Skille

The Panthers are EXTREMELY excited to welcome Jack Skille to the fold as the Panthers and the Nordiques made a trade earlier tonight.

Heading to Quebec is F Nils Ekman and a 2007 2nd round pick. Heading to FLorida is Jack Skille and a 2007 1st round pick.

"PUMPED" screamed GM Dave Penney. "We felt that we could give up a guy like Nils Ekman who was on on 3rd line for a potential 1st line winger" said Penney.

Skille joins the likes of Brule, Ryan and Hanzal who were all 1st rounds in this years draft.

The Quebec Nordique are pleased to confirm reports that they have traded the CPHL's 'Invisible Man' to the Florida Panthers for breakout player Nils Ekman.

"It was a trade that made sense to the organization" Said GM Jamieson. "As far as I am concerned, I may not get a chance to regret trading the 2007 first rounder if I cant get the boys into the playoffs before then. Nils gets us that much closer."

Nils is expected to stay on the team when they return to the Colisee this season. Then again, when building the team from the ground up, anything can happen.
