Default Violence and Silence

Watched any good TED talks lately? I thought this one was excellent regarding our culture of violence and silence.

Watching this TED talk actually reminded me of all the posters here speaking out against the racist/bigoted comments in the UK Beheading thread. Jackson Katz talks about how as a society, there is a need to stand up in our peer groups about other uncomfortable issues. Just thought it may make for an interesting discussion or at least provide a new perspective for some.
