Man the prices for these things are outrageous. Just looked at tickets for the Man City v. Chelsea and Spain v. Ireland games at Yankee Stadium and can't believe how much they want for crappy seats in a venue not at all suited for soccer. I think I'll be heading to the Red Bulls game this weekend instead.

Bring a friend or two, I'd love to be unable to see the Red Bull logo on the backs of the seats some day.

Yeah I've only been to a couple of games out there and have never been overly impressed with the turnout. I don't mind the trip out there from Manhattan, although it's not short, but I hate that once I get there there's very little atmosphere around the stadium. My favorite part of going to games in Europe (and I realize expecting Europe is unreasonable but RBNY is my only MLS experience so I don't have another to compare it to) is the atmosphere around the stadium and in the ground. With a stadium in a parking lot in the middle of a NJ swamp and a pretty lame fan base the day ends up lacking in a lot of ways.

It still beats shelling out $100 for a seat in Yankee stadium to watch 2 teams who definitely do not want to be there though.
