Kinda disappointing. Hopefully our scouts learn from this.

Good luck to Roman. I would have liked him back but i honestly don't see a point for him to stay.

Too bad, I would have liked to see him back for another year, but it makes sense why he wouldn't take that risk.

I assume he just didn't dig it over here, otherwise he would have waited until after July 1

No loss whatsoever. He was beyond soft and nothing more than a hindrance to the youth that will be in the lineup in the skill positions.

Surprised he scampered back so fast. Too bad. Most of his goals were nice to watch.

Not surprising, there was no fit for him on Calgary with another slew of soft players already on the roster. He must have been home sick, because like " playfulGenius" said he did not even want to test out free agency.

I wonder how his exit interview went?

Yes. How dare they take a chance in a bid to make the team better.

still don't understand why some people were complaining about the contract last year

just shows how much of a no risk move it was

Bad luck, with all the Health and Conditioning issue that were not in his control when he finally gave the NHL a shot.

I liked that the Flames tried it. Most of this stuff wont work but you will never hit a home run if you dont swing the bat and I am tired of this team being ok with just getting a walk to first.

I would have liked him back, but from that Czech interview someone posted at the start of the season I could tell that he was going to head back to Europe and I really can't blame him.

What do you mean? I didn't know Cervenka was an over the hill vet.
