Can anyone tell me why TSN videos don't work for me? Just a black area when I try to play their videos.
I'm using Firefox.

Nice to hear that he's fit in well with the Pens and appreciated by his teammates.

I'm not sure, but the same thing happened to me. I tried it in firefox and chrome. Instead, I went to the main page and found the video through the video player/playlist on the right side. It worked fine that way.
Thanks for posting, it's great hearing good things about Iggy. It was funny to hear Bylsma talk about Jarome threatening him. Iggy's awesome.

What was Bylsma talking about with the whole "I told Jarome right away when he got here, that he couldn't threaten me" speel?
I assume it's an inside joke or something, anyone know the back story?

From Crosby himself, "he's a pretty quiet guy doesn't say much.........leads by example".
Not the first time we've heard it, but can this please put to bed the "how do you know, we're you in the dressing room" comments from folks when people say Iggy wasn't really a vocal leader.

What is the liklihood this was driven by the Healy and CBC Iginla hate last game?
The video doesnt work for me so i am curious about the timing of it.

That video is another feather in his cap. It really makes me chuckle inside when I think about all of the "he's a terrible captain" BS that was being spewed around here for the last couple of years.
For the majority of us this video really lends credence to the high opinion we always held of Iggy.

Glenn Healy is just as bad at announcing, as he was as a goaltender.

Was Bylsma part of that Flames/Ducks brawl in 02/03? At least I think that was the year...

I certainly don't think Iggy was a terrible captain the past few years, but your "chuckle" really doesn't do much but potentially indicate you didn't take much of a sophisticated ear to what was said in that video. Almost to a man, from Crosby to Bylsma, you heard, quiet, doesn't say much, leads by example.
Something that likely really enhances the leadership on a team stacked with leaders who can fill the other leadership roles. Something tells me though, a struggling team, lacking direction like the Flames were the past few seasons, likely could have used a captain who was vocal in the room, especially when there weren't many other leaders on the team.
Does that mean Iggy wasn't a capable leader the past few years, heck no, but it could mean he wasn't the right leader (or at least not on his own) in Calgary the past few years. I think this is likely true, and management should have found another leaderships presence in Calgary to help him out, because Iggy's style of leadership didn't seem to be the right fit for the team the last few seasons.

might have been something from the Flames/Ducks brawl back in '01 and the subsequent games which I assume saw alot of trash talking.

When things aren't going good or guys aren't sticking with the system sometimes you need more than just a quiet guy that leads by example especially when the example wasn't of the most dedicated defensively at times. I think things got stale with him and the team and this move has been good for all parties. Good to see he's fitting in with the Penguins and hopefully they can ride this out to a Stanley Cup.
On another note is James Neal ever a skinny dude.
