Will you cancel your season tickets because of the "Rebuild?"
I have been a season ticket holder since 2000. I saw this "rebuild" before and I felt like I threw away my hard earned money during this phase. I'm debating if I should stick with the "rebuild" and hope for the best or not? What would you do if you have season tickets?

Personally, if the Flames decide to go with a youth movement and rebuild, I will probably go to more games next year (It's not hard to beat 1 though). It's something I've been waiting for a couple years now, and I'd be exciting at watching players with some potential.

I'm actually excited to watch the Flames post April 3 to see who emerges as the new leaders.
So no, if I had season tickets, I absolutely would not cancel them.

I've always said that how they handle the new building will determine what I do with my tickets. I dont mind if they rebuild as long as the team is playing hard.

I have a game pack, but I won't cancel them. I have been waiting for the Flames to rebuild, so I am excited to see some fresh faces.

I don't have them, but the atmosphere of any hockey game is why I go, not just because i want my team to win. I watch an OHL team, and no matter if they win or lose I have a good time. Same could be said for an NHL team.

I am not a ticket holder, but I think if I was, I would keep my tickets but maybe offload some games.
I know it's easy to say that though. Most people are going to say they are hardcore and won't give them up, but a lot of people will. Hopefully other people will pick them up.

If I had season tickets, the approach of mediocrity over the last 3 years would have made we want to cancel.
Finally thinking of the future and what's best for the team is no reason to bail on the team.
It's that sort of thinking that makes the owners make ticket selling decisions instead of hockey decisions; which many of us have complained about for some time now.

No, games under Hartley are pretty exciting. There haven't been very many Sutter-like games at the Dome this year
I went to a game against Minny that Brent coached and the Flames didn't score, hit, or fight ONCE in the game. They lost like 6-0 and there was literally nothing to cheer for all game. If they played that brand of hockey, and lost all the time, I would for sure cancel my seasons tickets.
But as it is I actually enjoy the way they play. Especially Wideman, Bouw, Brodie, Hudler, Cervenka, and Backlund this year. Skilled forwards and great skating defenseman that are allowed to jump up into the play
I'd like to see what Hartley can do with a full season, and a training camp to prepare for the season. Just stop scratching Cervenka and Sarich...

I came in to post this.
If I resided in Calgary and didn't have seasons, I would be more inclined to get them now than at any time in the previous 5 years.

On the fence, but not so much because of the rebuild. Having a kid, getting married, moving outside the city will make it pretty tough to get to games.
Not sure what I'm going to do, I've got great seats. Gonna depend on the team they have, and if I see value in the next 3 years. If I think it's poor value I'll get rid of the seats, and buy on game day off CP or kijiji.

I am more excited to go to the game tomorrow than I was on Sunday. I'm so sad to see Iggy go, but this team as is has been done for a long time now, more than just this season.
It was getting tough to watch this team tread water for the past few seasons. They aren't treading water anymore. Not sure if they are swimming, not sure if they are sinking, but at least it's not just the same old, that's more entertaining than what we've had for a couple years now when we all new this team was done and was moving no where.

No, at the start of the season I knew the flames weren't going to be competitive. I'm sad to see Iginla go but am also excited to see who we draft. Flames haven't had an exciting young player since Phaneuf and whomever we draft should be better than him. I don't own Flames tickets because of one player as long as it makes financial sense for me I will continue with my subscription.

I am hoping that the Flames can find their true "identity" under Hartley and give us fans an exciting brand hockey that has been missing in Calgary for sometime now. I am hoping that they will bring in players that will play night in and night out and be exciting to watch.
