Stepan Into a Blues Jersey
Blues have acquired young #1 Center Derek Stepan from the Flyers for a trio of picks/prospects. Going to Philly is the #14 and #16 pick in this years draft as well as top young prospect on the verge of becoming a full time NHLer, Tomas Tatar.
While I didn't want to part with Tatar in the deal, I've been after Stepan for a while and was pleasantly surprised when he suddenly became available for a reasonable price so decided I would cough him up. Stepan will fit in very nicely with our young forward group next season.

With that, the Blues are down to the #3, #9, and #13 picks remaining in the 1st round this year with #9 and #13 said to be in play but the asking price being a top young player and the Blues will add as necessary. #3 is as of now, not available unless it's an absolute amazing offer.
