Hi Everyone,

Saturday is free comic book day. Be sure to find your local comic shop to pick up one of the free comic book offerings. I recommend trying something that isn't DC or Marvel, just to check out something different. OR pick up a comic for your kid, there are some fun ones on the list.

Iron Man 3 will have collected $500 Million world-wide by Monday. Did movies save comic books?

For sure movies did. Maybe not the single issues as much as graphic novels/trades. TV did as well. Specifically Walking Dead.

Last year, The Walking Dead had 18 of the top 30 selling trade paperbacks/graphic novels. It's brought a lot of readers to that format of books.
