Tough loss to open the series but I think they can win the next two to win the series.

I can feel a low scoring game with both pitchers on their game today and ending with a jays win!

What is it with the Jays and Yankee Stadium? It just seems like New York in general is a distraction for the team and they never seem to really show up to play. I have no solutions though

Oh Blue Jays.....

Is there any chance this team might realize it's potential (with some tinkering) next season?

Or does AA blow it to smitherines?

Ouch.

I guess there is lots of season left, but it sure isn't looking good at all.

Well, there is no excuse for this team to have this poor of a record, but at the same time, with the injuries, it's unlikely we were going to be top of this division (please don't mention the Yankees with Vernon and Travis carrying them...) Anyway, I think at this point you give them a mulligan and look towards next year -hopefully they will be healthy. If JJ has to go at the deadline for a piece, so be it.

This team has been on semi-contender/rebuild for 20 years, lets just enjoy "should be contender" at this point. After next season, we can blow it all up again.

I would really think about a new manager at the all star break, not really blaming Gibbons, but a new face might work. Where is Cito Gaston these days? He'd be great with a team like this, were likely .500 with him at the helm.

Just say no to Gaston. I like the guy, not no.

Some good news

Barry Davis ‏@SNBarryDavis 9m
In other news, @MStrooo7 pitched 5 scoreless innings with 6ks in his 1st start of the season in New Hampshire. #bluejays

Marcus Stroman is the Blue Jays first round pick from last years draft who was suspended for 50 games for PEDs. Will probably be with the Jays soon.
