Jays take 3 of 4 and start to walk towards the 0.500 mark! Just faced two of the four projected starters last week - hopefully bodes well for the bats to come alive.

Good to see Reyes in the dugout. His happy energy brings a lot to the team.

Such a different tone to the game when the bats come out early.

Colby can be very frustrating at the plate, but you have to love what he does in the field. He has great range out there.

Why throw a 3-1 fastball to Cano? That's just asking for trouble.

Hopefully Lawrie remembers that gift of a call the next time he cries about strike 3.

Never mind looks like they got it right.

Lawrie can continue to cry after legit strikeouts.

Jays have to start winning. No excuses they should be putting up wins.

Starting to get discouraged. It's not going to be early for to long.

Even if they start winning, they need to outplay Boston, who apparently have decided to play this year.

Either way, no excuse like many here have said. Simply no reason they can't put together some wins.

I will admit, I am starting to worry a bit, but I think they can find their way.

If Passan tweet is right would help further explain Aaron Laffey pickup.

Heard Blue Jays could scratch Josh Johnson from Friday start with biceps tightness. Not thought to be serious. Expected to make next start.

Josh Johnson (triceps) scratched from start

Josh Johnson has been scratched from Friday's start against the Yankees due to right triceps tightness.

The Blue Jays are saying the move is precautionary and are hoping that Johnson will be ready for his next scheduled outing. Aaron Laffey will get the ball in his place.
