Big game for the Blues tonight. A win moves them up to 4th place and home ice advantage for the first round.

Please, oh please, don't let this be a three point game.

Who is playing for Calgary tonight? My guess is that Cammi, Stempniak and Backlund are back in.

Blues are good, Flames are not. They will lose this one.

So if we lose this we help one of our first round picks and hurt the other? And vice versa. Sigh

Edit: I was wrong

Quote:
The remaining order is determined by the Stanley Cup playoff results.[8] Whichever team wins the Stanley Cup is awarded the 30th and last pick, while the runner-up is given the 29th pick. The teams eliminated in the conference finals are awarded the 28th and 27th picks, with the 28th pick going to the team with the better regular season record. Remaining division winners are then sorted by points, then the rest of the field are ranked next, filling in the 26th through 15th picks. In both cases, better records result in later picks.[6]

Bärtschi one-ups Gagner's game from last year, scoring 5 goals, and adding 5 assists.

Blues win 12-10.

Brodie +8
Bouwmeester -6
Cundari passes Bouwmeester in points since the trade.

I really don't want the Flames to win this game and I really don't think the Blues will lose as a win puts them in a position to attain home-ice advantage.

Ideal Day:
Flames Loss
Canes Win
Tampa Win
Nashville Win

oh and to pass my final exam

So all the vets draw back in...does that increase or decrease the likelihood of Calgary getting 2pts?

Increase. The guys drawing back into the lineup are the ones who want to be part of the team going forward, no doubt in my mind they lose this one though.

flames better lose.

Nobody is going to be remembering these 2 points when we are all sitting at draft day or a few years wondering what could have been.

Hoping for a flames win.

Don't see the teams behind us winning games to leap frog over the flames. Rather the Blues not get 4th in the conference.

Irving should be playing, for multiple reasons... dumb, dumb, dumb.
