Meteor shower tonight (April 22)?

I thought with all the geeks on here, someone would have posted about the Lyrid meteor shower. I guess tonight is the peak to be able to see some shooting stars. Thought I would pass it on.

The peak period has passed but the Lyrid meteor shower is still ongoing. Best viewing is an hour or two before dawn.

I caught one last night, but didn't stay out too long.

I caught the Leonids during their peak 20 years ago or so when we were passing through the largest part of the storm and it was just amazing. There was one every 60 secs or so, often more than one at a time.

I've also seen a couple that are really close (or really large I guess) and they get that green glow and sometimes even a noise accompanying it.

I guess maybe I'm getting a little jaded, I found myself wondering inside last night after a short period of time. Or maybe just lazy. I gotta get away from all the screens in life and back to real life!
