we had them, in their barn and let it slip away. we took it alot farther than many thought we could against the Isles, especially with a depleted lineup for game 7. Congrats to the Isles...more later

Not really pleased right now. But the fact of the matter is, this team really hit the wall about half way through the season and never recovered. Congrats to 3thirty for a great season and good luck moving on.

Wow, what an up and down game and series as I was expecting in my series preview. We were up 2-0 in the series than tied 2-2 than up 3-2 then tied 3-3 and then there was game 7, down 3 Zip tie it up then down 4-3 tie it up again then Vrbata gets the game 7 OT winner. The Sabres sure put us to the test and was 14:20 from taking the series. Not to mention the home team won every game. Last year we lost game 7 in a dissapointing first round upset to our rival Rangers so it was nice to get the win. Nash had the most points of the evening with 3 assists but failed to grab one of the 3 stars, he was one of my 3 stars and a true playoff performer in the first round with 12 points and a massive 16 Hits. Lundy was less than average this series with 3.05 GAA but made the saves when it counted in a Game 7 OT. Next up the Devils who won the only other game 7 of the round. Considering the long series both teams are relatively healthy going in so it should be another long one. Cooke won't be available until game 2.
