Icon32 Wild acquire Pominville+4th for Larsson, Hackett,2013 1st,2014 2nd

Michael Russo ‏@Russostrib 9s Sources: #mnwild appears close to trading one of its young goalies; still going hard after Pominville http://www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/201288281.html …

I am hearing through reliable sources that there could be a big pending trade coming down with the Wild.
Houston Aeros goalie Darcy Kuemper has been sent to the Houston airport with his equipment bag packed, sources tell me. The kicker though is he has not yet been told where he is going or if he is going anywhere.
My gut tells me he may be coming here to San Jose. If that were the case, the Wild could be on the verge of trading Matt Hackett. That would obviously be part of a bigger trade.
More to come as this evolves, but I do still know the Wild is heavily going after Buffalo's Jason Pominville.

Pominville is a great fit in MIN... hopefully that helps them hold off VAN for the divisions lead.

Pominville is a great player, very underrated. Good deal for the Wild.

Michael Russo ‏@Russostrib 29s #mnwild has acquired Jason Pominville. Larsson and Hackett going the other way. Hear this trade could include high draft picks, too

Pominville is a good player and helps the wild

but if they are sending a 1st back with that return it's an unbelievable trade for Buffalo

WIld get a good 1 in Pominville with nice return for Sabres; Hackett solid G prospect & Johan Larsson was a beast @ WJC here in Calgary. Future Captain.

This trade makes the Iggy and Bouw trades look bad though. Guess that what happens when there is not a no trade clause though.

Edit: That is if the 1st and 2nd also going back is true.

This is a really good deal for Buffalo and depending on whether a 1st going Buffalo's way, a decent deal for the Wild.

Pominville is a better all-round player today than Iginla.

Pominville: 98 points last 119 games
Iginla: 89 points last 113 games

And Pominville is a much better player without the puck than Iginla.

He's also a better player than Bouwmeester, at a lower cap hit.
