I have to have a bailing device in my whitewater kayak. The only water gets in is if I fall out and there is no way that I am going to flip the kayak over and bail the water out to get back in. You just pull it to shore and dump the water out.
And don't get me started on their commercial vehicle rules that make it almost impossible to operate a one ton vehicle for work.
Aren't hovercrafts extremely loud? Can't see this taking off unless they are somehow silent. Not sure how many people want to be golfing while the dude on the hole behind you is given'r through the water hazard.
It's not about getting 10' closer to your ball, it is using a technology that puts even less pressure down on the ground it travels over versus a cart.
Good for the course, but realistically I don't think we'll see a hovercar invasion on golf courses anytime soon.

But my god, is walking still too much exercise for some golfers, you need to get 10 more feet closer to your ball?
Lazy golfers are my favorite people to mock. I mean, seriously, is there a more pathetic, first world problems complaint than middle aged white guys who despise having to walk on a golf course?
I assume all of the "can't get close enough to your ball" comments are from non-golfers?
Also, the course where they filmed that (The Raven) in Phoenix is great. Played there last year and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a nice round.

Or energetic golfers, who don't mind a little bit of exercize.
I don't mind exercise at all, but a lot of courses won't let you walk at this point. I find I play a little better walking actually. The carts just help you keep the whole thing under 4.5 hours at some of these courses though.
