Flames Feasters summer

I like what FEASTER is doing he is gearing up for a massive summer first the draft and then free agents and the RFAs

He screwed Colorado ( almost screwed us) but it was like he knew that they had to sign him

And now the blues with the addition of bouw the blue are going to have a tough tough guy signing all of there guys Ian cole, pietrangelo, shillkirk(sp) etc

On top of that the next year the cap is going to be reduced forcing teams to shed salary A) by letting the RFA and ufas walk or B) they would trade pieces they arent or weren't willing trade to free up space

Any thoughts ...

I don't think Feaster is here this summer but I think he is setting the organization up nicely to be very flexible this summer and add a franchise player through the draft.

The big problem is he has talked way too much and has failed to deliver on his promises. He said he wouldn't be the manager to rebuild this team. He also is targeting picks as the main piece coming back in trades.

I still think Burke is coming in to take over for both King and Feaster this summer and will get to build this team from scratch. I personally think this is a fantastic position for any GM to be in. Getting to build a team from the ground up and inheriting a top 3 pick, 2 more 1sts and possibly more picks. Not to mention top prospect like Sven and a couple of intriguing wildcards in Gaudreau/Jankowski

I agree with Vinny here. We will likely see Burke or someone else coming in the off season. Feaster is doing the villainous work of clearing the table and the new team will build from sctratch.

use sun block Fester this summer with your bald head and pale boiler.
Let Conroy be your pitch man for UFA's.
Just be silent and no handing out NTC Jay.

If your asking what will Feaster be doing this summer and going forward, then my guess is blogging.

Since when is Feaster bald? The last week couldn't have been that rough on him

I think somone will be coming in to take over. I wanted Burke before because i thought he could get better assets back in return for our players. If Feaster trades of most of the assets, then they really don't need him for that. This will give the flames ownership a chance to do a full search for a new GM. A rookie GM does not need to worry about getting fleeced in trades for players that he has to move right away, he can take his time. If Burke ends up being the best candidate then i am fine with it.
