Game Time : Saturday, October 26 5pm kickoff

Great another home game the same time as Calgary Flames home game vs Washington Capitals. I guess I will skip the Flames game and watch the Stamps game. I am so pumped for this game.
Top two teams in the West and in the CFL battle against each other for the last time in the CFL regular season. #1 Calgary Stampeders(13-3) will play #2 Saskatchewan Roughriders(11-5) at McMahon Stadium in Calgary. I hope to see more RED jerseys on the stand than those ugly GREEN jerseys.
A lot on the line for this game. Calgary needs a win or a tie to clinch first place in the Western Division while Saskatchewan needs to win both their last game and Stamps to lose both of their remaining games. Stampeders(513 points) and Riders(468 points) own the CFL's most productive offenses & both teams are also the only teams in the CFL to surrendered fewer than 400 points.
Riders won the first game 36-21 in Regina while Stamps defeated the Riders at McMahon Stadium 42-27. Stamps is 7-1 at home this season while Riders is 5-3 on the road.
CORNISH vs SHEETS : Who's the best RB? Depending on who you talk to. Rider fans and Kori Sheets himself were bragging Sheets is the best RB in the CFL; but numbers says otherwise. Cornish goes to the game with 134 rushing yards lead over Sheets. He also leads the all RB in yards per carry average with 7.2 per. Cornish rushed the ball fewer than Sheets. The only category Sheets is ahead of Cornish is in Rushing TD category. Sheets rushed 12 for TD while Cornish 11.
HUGHES vs HALL : Currently they are tied in leads for QB sacks with 15. Hughes had a couple of sacks last week against Edmonton while Hall did not register any sack last week. All 15 of Alex Hall sacks was during his days with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Calgary's DE Cordarro Law who was a healthy scratch last week is in 3rd position with 12.
OFFENSE :
QB Kevin Glenn completed 16 passes on 26 pass attempts vs Edmonton. He also threw 1 TD pass.
RB Jon Cornish rushed 19 times for 145 yards and caught 12 receiving yards. He needs 207 yards to break the franchise record of RB Willie Burden 1,896 yards.
R Marquay McDaniel caught 4 passes for 77 yards and 1 TD. McDaniel just need 41 yards to hit the 1,000 receiving yards for this season.
OLine carousel is on again this game. LT Stanley Bryant hurt his knee and will not play vs the Riders. Spencer Wilson will take over Bryant's spot. RT Dan Federkeil will be back in the lineup after sitting out a few games due to groin injury. RG Dmitri Tsoumpas will still miss the game due to concussion problem.
Non-import receiver Spencer Armstrong may get his first CFL game tomorrow to replace the injured Brad Sinopli(concussion). Another non-import receiver Anthony Parker will take Sinopli's spot.
DEFENSE :
Last week vs Edmonton, S Eric Fraser probably had his best game this season. He collected 1 sack, 1 INT and 4 tackles.
DE Charleston Hughes added two sacks to tie DE Alex Hall in CFL sack leader with 15. Hughes also had 3 tackles vs Edmonton. He just need 4 more sacks to tie Harold Hallman's all-time franchise record with 19.
SPECIAL TEAM :
Jamar Wall blocked a punt and recovered the ball to score a special team TD vs Edmonton last week.
Kicker Rene Paredes went 4 for 4.
************************************************** ****
Last week, Stamps got banged up. Here are the players hurting after last week's game. LT Stanley Bryant left the game with knee injury last week. He is not expected to play tomorrow. Safety Keenan MacDougall also got hurt with hamstring injury and he's questionable. DT Demonte Bolden (pulled leg muscle) and LB Deron Mayo(hip) are not expected to miss the game. R Brad Sinopli got sandwiched by 3 Eskimo defenders after he caught the ball and left with concussion problem. Sinopli is not expected to play vs the Riders. WR Maurice Price hurt his butt and wrist after slipping at Commonwealth Stadium concrete. Price is expected to play vs the Riders.
Stampeders signed QB Tim Jenkins to practice roster. Jenkins played an NFL pre-season game in St. Louis vs Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos this year. The 22-year old California native played at Fort Lewis College in Colorado and accumulated 8,857 passing yards with 47 passing TD and 13 Rushing TD.
GO STAMPS GO!!!
