It seems kinda weird that he wouldn't come over at the beginning of the year and it seemed like he didn't want anything to do with the islanders. I don't think it will be a sign and trade becuase with cap going down he seems more attractive as a rental.

True, but if he didn't want to play there he could of just not signed. If somebody is willing to trade for him at that salary, then he could of just as easily got that as a free agent. Plus he would get to pick where he plays.

This doesn't only raise the value of JayBow but all of our D. If the team decides to have a true fire sale and can't afford JayBow than I think Gio's value just sky rocketed. I really hope Feaster drives the market up on our guys now.
