senior care facilities

my wife is looking into getting her parents moved and is looking for a list of places in the Calgary area that charge based on the seniors income. they dont have a lot of money, so it limits the places they could potentially move. does anyone have a list or any recomendations? Thanks

they seem to like it, but it costs them about $3,000 per month for a place that is about as big as a hotel room.

i beleive there are some subsidized places out there, but you'll need to look hard and be patient - good luck

I recently sold a senior focused home healthcare business so know quite a bit about them... I would absolutely recommend the one in Cochrane if your interested in the level of care, support and activities - it really is an amazing place. Not as pretty as some but depends what your looking for.

Were your inlaws members of any lodges or Fraternaties, Masons Oddfellows Elks etc? they ofter have facilities, also the legion has places.
