The Minnesota Wild have announced the signing of Slovakian defenseman Martin Grundling.
Grundling was passed over in the recent CPHL Draft but was selected third overall in the CHL Import Draft. When asked about the signing GM Farhall had this to say:
"Martin was a player that we had on our board, though we didn't know much about him. This lack of knowledge ultimately meant we didn't select him though we are pleased to ink him to a deal post-draft."
When asked what he knew about the player Farhall had this to say:
"Ummmm...well.....he's a defenseman....and....well.....oh he's Slovakian...ummmmm....did I mention he's a defenseman?"
