Actually not a fail yet.

Carcillo really only makes sense if they are concerned they won't be able to afford all of Nolan, Lewis, and Clifford as RFAs.

Would not be surprised to see one moved still.

I think I would rather have Clifford, but I suppose it could be a mostly lateral move.

Clifford > Carcillo ... But Carcillo will be cheaper moving forward. I'd say Clifford is on the move. It's a financial move, for sure.

I think this is most definitely a preemptive replacement for Clifford. If Mitchell is healthy the Kings cap space is tight. Signing Lewis is more important than Clifford and now Clifford's physicality has been replaced...with a jerk.

Was a spare part in Chi...Never really understood the need for an agitator at $850k/year...young guys from Rockford, like Shaw, did the same role for less, and with better offensive upside. Carbomb really had bad luck with injuries and suspensions during his brief tenure, and never developed chemistry on any of the four lines.

Probably a while. Sutters prob dealing with a health issue limiting his physical output but will use this to teach Carcillo about toughness and pride
