Looking for furnished apt/suite

I have a friend that just moved here from NB who is looking for a needle in a haystack.

She's looking for a furnished apartment (or basement, etc) for under $1200. She has a car, so location isn't super important, but I think because she works there, downtown would be preferred.

Looking for immediate possession.

Rentfaster.ca This link is to the listings that are $1200 or less and furnished.

I had difficulty finding a generic 2 br in this market, with that criteria it might be near impossible.

Also, even if you find what you're looking for on rentfaster.ca, it's a moot point anyways. Rentfaster in this market is like using Calgaryjobshop.ca. Beyond useless. Unless you like wasting your time being one of hundreds of people applying as soon as the ad goes up.
