The success the Sens have been having with all of their big guns out of the lineup is really impressive.

That fight right there has me questioning my enjoyment of hockey fights

Between that and the Kyle Clifford KO'ing Roman Polak last night, I kind of agree with you. It's not fun watching someone get destroyed like that, IMO.

Yeah i'm a big supporter of fighting in hockey but watching that made me feel sick! Maybe they don't have the volume adjusted proper on the tv, but all I heard when they got him off the ice was jeering and go leafs go chants, I would have thought leaf fans would have had more class.

Leafs' Mark Fraser leads all NHL defencemen in +/- at +15. Great start to his season.

Slightly OT but in that Polak fight it looked like Clifford hit him in the chest but his head was kind of ducking down. Am I crazy to think he missed the head or did he catch the chin I am I just seeing it wrong?

Hit him on the button. Out cold before he hit the ice.

Tough to tell, the end result sure looks like he caught his chin. Polak looked as though he had his bell rung real good when he finally got up.

That's the way it looked with the way he went down (and certainly makes more sense) but on the one angle it looked like a shot to the body.

Polak looks like he's tucking his chin in to his collarbone and Clifford makes direct contact to the side of his chin.

The way polak goes into the fencing pose is indicative of having his lights turned out like that.

What I Find interesting is that polak lands a big punch before Clifford's lands. It was a 50/50 knockout, just as easily could've been Clifford based on the punch he ate to KO polak.

Dropping your head like that is a good way to get tuned up though if the other guy has any idea what he's doing with his fists.
