At first I wasn't a huge fan of how the Jays ordered their rotation, but it's starting to grow on me.

When you're consistently able to roll out 2 of R.A Dickey, Brandon Morrow, or Josh Johnson in a 3-4 game series it's pretty formidable.

Wish I was going to the game tonight - would love to loudly boo John Farrell. Can't wait to see how Johnson looks...I feel like he could end up being our best starter.

Agreed - Josh Johnson has a very good opportunity to become one of the wealthiest pitchers in the MLB this off season. If you look at pending FA, he is atop the list, and at worst, 2nd. It really is a tough situation for the Blue Jays to be in - if Johnson returns to form and pitches his way to a 20mil/per contract, ya the Jays get a great season out of JJ, but he is as good as gone at years end.

If Johnson fails, and I truly believe that the only way this happens is due to injury, yeah the Jays will be in the running for re-signing him - but at what cost? You are re-signing a guy who already has injury concerns, and he has just added to that total. It's a weird spot for both parties - and I don't see a scenario where Johnson is in a Blue Jays uniform next season. So I guess - enjoy it while it lasts?

Either way, really excited to see Johnson throw - guy is a legitimate Cy Young candidate when healthy and right.

John farrell.

Experience the blue jays do what you couldn't get them to do.

That is all.

Dude that bat gif needs to be posted. It would be much more appropriate to threaten Ferrell with at bat.

That said a solid few games against the Red Sox and watching that ball fly out of the yard would make me just as happy

Understand loyalty and all but Gibby better do something with Lind if he is still hitting into dbl plays with bases loaded and any outs in clutch situations...same ol same old

The home run by Rasmus for me does not get him out of the dog house either. At least with Lind he has smoked the ball right at people. Rasmus ran into one other wise he has been striking out or rolling over weakly to the right side.

It'll be easy for the boys to get up for this one with Farrell back in town. Something extra to prove this weekend. Hearing already 40,000ish tickets sold for tonight which is awesome.

Can't wait to wake up tomorrow to a Jays game and enjoy my coffee on the couch!

I am really anxious to see Big Josh Johnson pitch tonight. The Bo Sox wanted to get him last year.

For once I love the Toronto fans.

Farrell just stole money last year.

Maybe I don't follow the Jays well enough, but why do we hate Farrell exactly? I don't remember what he did. I remember he left half way through contract

What happened on that last play? I'm following along with gameday so I don't get much detail.
