Flames To all you Trade Iginla Individuals

I dont care what you think of me,
I dont ever post but read daily as this is the best place to get the news...

How bad would the flames be with out Iginla?

He's not scoring much, but he is playing hard, drawing players to him and setting up goals.

Just a thought...... LAY OFF HIM!!!!!!

You're right. This couldn't have gone in any of the 40 Iginla-related/blow it up threads currently on the board.

They'd probably miss the playoffs at least 3 years in a row without him

It's not so much his lack of production that some are complaining about, it's the fact that it's time to move on. With or without Iginla this team isn't making the playoffs, IMO.
Also, you should stick to just reading and not posting.

I admire your dedication to Iggy. I used to think we all loved Iggy, but you will find there are 3 groups of Iggy posters on CP.

1 Iginla should be a Flame for life.
2 Iginla should be traded before the deadline for assests for the future.
3 Iginla should be traded before the deadline regardless what the Flames get.

If the Flames keep Iginla and he takes a large paycut to around 4-5 mil so the Flames can have more cap room to build with. I am all for it.

If the Flames can trade Iginla for a nice package of a 1st round, prospect, top 6 forward preferrably a Center.
If Feaster can't get the right return you don't trade Iginla unless they know 100% Iginla does not want to return.

My stance:

4 Iginla should be traded for Shanko and Lando
