Default 2013 UEFA Champions League

The Champions League playoffs (i.e. matches before the group stage) started today and continue tomorrow. Just a heads up!

I'm hoping CFR Cluj qualifies and ends up in the same group as Chelsea.

When is the Group Stage draw happening?

No real surprises here other than group D being the group of death, all the rest are pretty tame.

Group D is really the only one thats going to be interesting to watch.

And can someone fix the title of the thread? EUFA /= UEFA

Group D is insane. Who's going to be the top scorer in that one?

Lewandowski? Tevez? Higuaín?

I think Juventus will probably beat out Chelsea in Group E, but I'd be shocked if any of the English teams don't make it through. Barca and Bayern got pretty much the best groups they could've hoped for.

Also, suck it, City.

Unlikely. More likely Ronaldo or Aguero.

Dortmund and Ajax are good teams but they havent (cant) spend money like either of City or Madrid so those are the two teams that will likely make it out of the group.

The Group stage is fairly boring because of the structure of the draw, and we all know that thats done on purpose to get the big teams through to face one another in the later stages of the tournament.

I bet every single one of us could predict at least one if not both teams coming out of the group with 90%+ accuracy.

Atletico Madrid absolutely dominate Chelsea so far ... Falcao is such a beast. 3 goals in 45 minutes.

Could/should have had 5 in that first half. Love seeing Chelsea get bent over.
