I like having an office on 6th ave.

No one is blocking my view, its air conditioned in here, and there no bugs!!!

Anyone else watching right now on TV or from a d/t office?

dont mean to rain on your parade, but will someone please tell me what the fascination is with these things? seriously, im curious. I have always found parades to be the most utterly boring things on earth, and am amazed that people go to these things year after year. someone splain!

It's one of those throwback things from the days when you didnt have TV and the internet to keep you entertained. Had to do something, so parades work as well as anything, I guess.

That said, I went to about 5 stampede parades as a kid. I'm done with them. You can only go "ooooooh" at the miniature horses so many times before it gets old.

ooohhhh a band played hang on snoopy

then the miniature horses came

then a float came

ooohhh then a band playing hang on snoopy came

then a group of horses came

then a truck spread the horse crap around the street to ensure that there was the highest sunlight - horsecrap ratio possible.
