Can't wait until Kipper comes back! Whole team stunk worse than a sewer in the first! We start calling games like this a Comeau type of game. WTF's he doing out there!

Goaltending meltdown, that's about it.

First two Irving goals cost us the game

I saw this coming.

BTW, Rob Kerr looks like Milhouse from the Simpsons.

With Kiprusoff = 3 - 3 game going into OT

I say 3 - 3, because in a re-do there ain't anybody on the planet stopping that Brodie shot in the 1st.

Our defence sucks. This is like Mike Keenan all over again leaving the goalies out to dry.

It's no wonder the goalies have struggled this year.

Jake Allen's second start and he showed way more poise than Irving. This wasn't all on Irving though obviously but I think Irving tops out as a backup in the NHL from what I have seen.

To state the obvious:

1)At some point, it would be nice if the Flames could find a second NHL-caliber goaltender.

2)If you want to overachieve with a thin roster, you need a first-rate defensive-minded coach. Like, er, Ken Hitchcock. I don't think Hartley is a bad coach -- he's an improvement over Sutter and probably over the washed-up version of Keenan -- but it's hard to see the Flames beating teams while running and gunning.

I didn't think it was that one-sided.

Sure Flames fell behind 2-0 but

A) Their goalie is no better, that save on Brodie was just pure fluke.

B) The refs were terrible, Blues ran interference all night.

C) Blues don't have Comeau shooting.

Yup, it was entirely the defences fault, absolutely.
