JOB OVERVIEW
The SAP MP Operations Reporting Lead will monitor/guide the External Vendor SAP BI stream in their area to achieve best performance and quality with reduced cost. There is also the requirement to manage the independent contractors working sustainment projects.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Deliver subject matter expertise in SAP BI Reporting area
- Monitor/guide across multiple vendor organizations to achieve best performance and quality while reducing cost
- Retain critical technical knowledge in house to reduce risk on projects as well as outsourced operations. Insure document quality in their area
- Point of escalation and lead and manage the process for resolution of critical high priority integrated break/fix and other system problems
- Involvement with SAP Councils to drive improvements as required by Suncor
- Manage an outsourced team of up to 15 contractors
- Responsible for managing a significant project developments
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:- Eight to ten years of related SAP experience with at least five years SAP support or Project experience specifically in the SAP BI and Business Objects (required) and SAP HANA (an asset)
- Bachelors degree (or above) in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Business Management
Skills and Knowledge:- Strong people management, communication and decision making abilities
- Experienced with outsourced relationships on either side of the relationship would be an asset
- Ability to organize and lead efforts
- Oil and gas business knowledge an asset but not required
