Default IR scan of house - recommendations?

So I have a back bedroom that is perpetually an icebox. I do think it's under served from an HVAC perspective with only 1 register and no cold air return, but I'd like to rule out any insulation issues.

Has anyone used one of those IR scanning companies in town, and do you have any recommendations?

I wonder if you can just rent a FLIR camera?

There are a few easy things you can try first. Check around the window to see if there is any cold air coming in from around the window frame. This is typically where you will have the most heat loss. If that is the case, then take your window trim off, and fill the space between the wood stud framing and the window frame, with foam-in-place insulation. Make sure you get the low expansion type - you don't want to bow out your window frame.

Do you have any condensation on the gypsum board inside the room when it is really cold? That would be a sign of insufficient insulation.

If your ductwork is exposed (in the basement), it wouldn't be too hard to put in another heating vent - hopefully the one that is in the room is below the window.
