Zzzzzzzz to the majority of these matchups. Maybe the sched makers did us a favor so us males wouldnt be tempted to massacre this most sacred of days.

Yeah both games with the rare 4.5 Over/Under on the Pro Line. I can see the Coyotes/Predators game being 2-1 but I have a feeling that Parise is going to have a big night against the D of the Avalanche. It still might only be 4-0 though! haha

Rangers fans are saying Brad Richards is playing horribly this season. Good ol' Rangers.

Just read this tweet before I read this

Save for 47 seconds, Brad Richards has been glued to the bench in this third period.

I guess we cheer for Colorado to win as they seem almost out of the race for 8th at this point.

The other game is likely a hope for 2 Pts not 3.

Not sure if Colorado has someone but if they do probably time for someone to go "talk" to Rupp.

The Rangers are where free agents go to die. They could sign Sydney Crosby and he would become a useless pylon

Their best performers have always been their homegrown talent, they should stick with that

Very well done! You set a good line and it was nine total (shootout goals do not count). I would have been wrong as I guessed under.

A great Thursday night of action. There were 2 games that ended in the SO and two other games had SHUTOUTS. The Islanders beat their arch rival Rangers 4-3 in the SO at MSG. The Isles were down 2-0 after 1 period but scored 3 in the 2nd. Nabokov played well as he faced 39 shots, Biron took the loss for the Rangers. The Avs also win 4-3 in the SO over the Wild. The surprise there was the Wild finally scored more than 2 goals in a game. It was the first time in 7 games they've done that. The only other western game had Nashville beating the Coyotes 3-0. The Predators scored all their goals in the 3rd period. It was Pekka Rinne's 2nd straight SHUTOUT and 3rd in the last 4 games. That is Vezina trophy material. Erat had 2 assists. The Habs win 1-0 in OT against the Panthers in this goaltender's dual. Former Flame Rene Bourque scored the GWG. For such a low scoring game, it had lots offensive chances as Theodore and Price (who got the SHUTOUT) played well in net. The Capitals win their 3rd in a row as they beat the slumping Bolts 4-3 in reg time. It was close but not quite for Tampa as they were down 4-1 before scoring 2 goals in the 3rd period. Garon is the reason Tampa was in this game as he faced 39 shots. Reality hit the Leafs as their winning streak comes to an end, Carolina wins 3-1 at home. All the goals in this game came in the 2nd period.
