Game is on NHL Network USA. This is the game of the night even though the Sharks are winless in six games. The attraction to this game is can Chicago keep its streak of at least getting a point in every game so far this season?

Winnipeg V Pittsburgh has been a real good game, Winnipeg has had the ice completely tilted the last 5 minutes

I'm switching back and forth between three of them. Pens/Jets has been very entertaining....Devils/Flyers pretty good, too.

The Ducks lead 4-2 on Detroit midway through the third period.

Chicago has a 1-0 lead after one period.

3 fights in 3 seconds in the canuck game. no idea what led to the fights.

Volpatti-Garbutt...decision Volpatti
LaPierre-Fiddler...decision Fiddler though it was pretty much a nothing fight
Weise-Nystrom...Nystrom with the win I think

3-1 canucks. Lehtonen somehow hurt his leg making an easy glove save and is out of the game.

Where was Toews' 2 minutes for instigating and obligatory 2 minutes for instigating with a visor on his fight with Thornton?

Tonight was one of those nights where the Canucks were the better team by far and they lose.

Kesler looked like he hasn't missed a beat - by which I mean he had a phony head-snap so obvious the Canucks media picked up on it, then speared a Star after the game ended.

Kinda liked seeing Rogers Arena go nuts for the fights.

IDK...would have been appropriate, but the Refs cut some slack with 2 for unsportmanlike instead of the 4 for the instigator set.

The Sharks simply could not match the 'Hawks speed or grit in winning pucks. Niemi got some bad bounces, and really got little help. The 'Hawks 4th line (Kruger/Mayers/Frolik) dominated the Shark 1st line (Thorton/Marleau/Whoever, as McLellan shuffled)

The 'Hawks had an easy time of it with their top guys having a quiet night.

You're right. I thought once the Flames game was over, this OOT would end up with a lot of posts on the Stars-Canucks game.

The Bruins suffer their 2nd loss in reg time by losing 4-2 to the Sabres. The other loss was also to the Sabres by the same score. The Bruins took a 2-1 early in the 2nd period and then the Sabres scored 3 straight goals in the 3rd to win it. Nice comeback by the Devils as they beat the Flyers 5-3. The Devils take the 1-0 lead 40 seconds into the game, then the Flyers score 3 goals to take a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes. The Devils get 2 in each period after that. Kovalchuk had 3 assists and Elias also had 3 points. The Penguins win 3-1 over the Jets. Andrew Ladd ruins Fleury's shutout bid with 95 seconds left. The Ducks are really flying as they beat the Red Wings 5-2 at the Joe. A pair of early goals in the 3rd along with Fasth goaltending clinched this one for Anaheim. Selanne with an assist. The Bhawks just keep on rolling with a 4-1 win over the Sharkies. It is now 14 games the streak and the Bhawks need 3 more games to break the record from the start of a season. The Sharks are winless in 7 games. The Canucks 6 game winning streak is over as the Stars win 4-3 in reg time. Nice road comeback by Dallas. The Stars' #1 goalie Lehtonen gets injured in the 1st period, and Bachman came in. After opening the scoring in the 1st, the Canucks score 3 goals on 6 shots on Bachman. After that, Bachman turned on the overdrive (BTO) and began taking care of business. All the Canucks losses this year except for 1 have come against teams outside of the NW division. The Kings beat the BJs 2-1 in reg time for the Kings 1st home win of the season. The other note in this game is that Jonathan Bernier played in goal for his 2nd consecutive game.

Give it to the refs - they wave off a Raymond goal for no discernible reason, just a terrible call, and 11 seconds later Dallas scores. But there's still no excuse for losing in regulation when you're leading going into the third. There's no way that's at all acceptable.

I don't think there was anything wrong with that Raymond no goal. Raymond interfered with the goaltender before the puck went in. Even if it was going in regardless, he prevented the goaltender from making a save.

That's called 10 times out of 10 in this league now.
