Leonard was great. What the story didn't mention was that the only way that Leonard got in to the finals was the fact that in the tournament last week, (Thursday, I believe) all three of the players bet everything on Final Jeopardy and had the incorrect answer.

Since there was no winner, and their totals equaled zero, Leonard was the highest earning wildcard and squeezed his way in.

And even better, Leonard would have lost if Nilai had gotten the answer right.

I liked this from the comments section:

Best part of Leonard's note? If Nilai gets that question right, he wins. Leonard called his shot anyway.

Loved Leonard, I was so glad he won. Can't believe the balls he had in his betting.

That was awesome, I feel bad for hoping a teenager loses but Nilai was irritating. Leonard knew when he got that Double Jeopardy he had no choice but to bet it all if he wanted a chance to win.

I think in the excitement Leonard made the same mistake I did when watching it and added 19,000 to 14,400 and thought Nilai couldn't catch him. If he actually knew Nilai could catch him and still wrote that it's unbelievably ballsy.
