He was a non offender before this incident?

Something's up with people getting suspensions by hitting Hossa.
At the end of the season someone is going to get suspended for head shoting Hossa. Also, Hossa leaves himself in a vulnerable position.

I would have given one for the headshot plus an additional eight sgames for being a Canuck, plus an additional two for Kesler's dive. Total 11 games

Perhaps by suspending his teammates the message will finally getbthrough to Kesler.

I think there should have been no suspension but one game is fine. A gloved punch to the back of the head on open ice is a roughing call back in the day.

Hansen really drives that punch through. It looks like he connects with his elbow too. One game is ridiculous for such a blatant attempt to injure.

I think it should have been more too, reminded me of the Bertuzzi headshot from behind on Moore except Hossa didn't have his career ended.
