Thumbs down TSN says Flames 14th

According to their season preview show. Oilers 13th. Canucks 2nd.

Not sure I care about what a panel consisting of Aaron Ward thinks.

Unless they are willing to back that up with betting odds I don't care what they think.

It doesn't cost tv experts any money to make predictions.. unlike us.

Why does everyone think Oilers will do better than Flames? And Flames will be bottom of standings?

Flames have added offense. They should be able to score more goals this season than last. Flames probably will miss playoffs, but won't be bottom of the barrel.

That seems about right to me. Though every game I watch I will still feel like they can win. Sports and logic don't mix well

It's funny because they acknowledged Wideman and Hudler will make them better. They said Kipper will probably be good and Sven and Cervenka are question marks, but could contribute tremendously to the Flames...

...yet because they're weak down the middle that somehow constitutes the Flames finishing 14th. Behind the Oilers who have waaayyyy bigger holes on their team than the Flames. I don't get it. TSN sucks.

Pretty sure TSN predicted Ottawa to finish 15th last season. They are often very wrong.

Hahahah Ok, serious question here:
Who here really expected to see/hear anything different? Honestly I'm a bit suprised they didn't say 15th. I don't care what any flapping head says from inside the glowing attention trap box.

Flames make the playoffs on the back of Kipper.

If sports and logic mixed well, the bookies would be bankrupt.

Shouldn't TSN be celebrating the fact that the Flames have finally taken their advice and iced a lottery pick roster? Following in those Oilers footsteps at last.
