JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling manager, the Lead planner will be responsible for proactively managing work orders based on risk rank and criticality.
KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES- Ensure that planning needs are being met and support the business objectives
- Ensure the use of appropriate routine structured job plans and Planning Level Risk Assessment s (PLRAs)
- Report on Key Performance Indicators(KPIs), monitor backlogs, task list usage and planner workload
- Ensure that direct reports have all the required training to support safety and planning accountabilities
- Monitor the maximization of craft utilization through resource leveling to allocate sufficient work according to schedule
- Coach and mentor planners to follow processes, manage time, support business needs, enhance asset availability and reduce costs
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:- Journeyman ticket with a minimum of eight to ten years of experience
- Minimum of five years proven leadership experience
Skills and Knowledge:- Knowledge of maintenance planning practices and trades work requirements
- Knowledge of maintenance systems, scheduling tools and techniques
- Knowledge of SAP planning and GWOS scheduling
