barcode on the box might indicate what carrier? these are not sold unlocked IIRC so it has to be to a specific carrier

I have an unlocked, pearl white 16GB S3 that I got in the UAE... but it's only a 3G phone.

So I guess they can come unlocked, but maybe not in our market.

It's important to know a couple things for anybody buying this phone.

The barcode and other information on the box may help because it is vital to know if it's locked to a carrier or not.

I am very interested in this phone but there are two main models of Galaxy SIII and I need to know if it's the international edition (one for sale on Newegg) or the North American edition. How much ram does it have (1GB or 2GB)? What CPU does it have? (Exynos quad core or Snapdragon dual core)? Does it support LTE or not?
