Since I've lived here for the last year or so I've found that, in general, drivers are more courteous and patient than drivers in Calgary. I can't speak for all parts of Australia, obviously, as I've only driven in Perth and a little bit in Brisbane.

However, the level of violence here is higher as is born out in both statistics and anecdotal evidence. Either way, stupid people do stupid things.

Interesting that the driver just happened to have a camera mounted in his truck........

Funny hearing some of the terms....bonnet, bitumen, wing mirror

Wired video

Actually, they're surprisingly common now. The price point for dash cams has dropped pretty significantly, and they're really useful in terms of accident recording, having one of those can really help determine who is at fault and who is not, instead of everyone's word against each other.

Plus, the driver used to be a cop, so he probably just feels like it's SOP.

Isn't is common place in most European countries, and Australia, to have dash mounted cameras, because of all the accidents and such? I thought I read or heard that somewhere once. Maybe on CP.

Crazy video. Hopefully the police catch this psycho.

Because he wasn't in North America.
Australia's emergency services number is 000.

I've never heard of the 'wing mirror'
