Looking forward to it, but it's going to be weird.

I hope Liam is a good replacement, he'll be no Andy, but still. I'm glad they're bringing back Gannicus.

I just love this show, mind you a meh kind of 1st episode but I can forgive them with all the soft core porn we are treated to.

I forgot to watch this and by the time I noticed it was on it was too late. The good news is, I did turn it on for a second and got to see Lucy in the tub with her bewbies all out in the open.

Thought the episode took a while to get going but got better as it went on.
I was almost disinterested in the first 10 minutes but by the time it was over I was on the edge of my seat.

It is very difficult to watch without Andy that guy was a hell of an actor but the supporting cast is strong enough to make the transition for me.
I just recently got into this show dont know how i missed it but is easily one of my favorites

I watched an episode once and thought it was kind of silly; maybe I should give it a second chance.

It's beyond silly. There isn't much in the show that is actually "good" film making. They over-saturate all the colours, they go in and out of slow-mo more than Zack Snyder, the dialogue (while hilarious) is pretty bad, the acting isn't too good, the CGi is pretty rubbish, the backgrounds are terrible.
But at the end of the day I love the show. It is so insane and crazy that it just makes it an awesome experience. Also, there are more tits and ass in this show than in some pornos.

I knew it would be tough to watch without Andy as Spartacus, but like someone else said, the supporting cast makes it bearable. Still, while the new guy looks similar, his acting isn't half as good. Really sucks to lose such a great fit for this role just as he was getting his career rolling. Hugely missed.

thought the same way, I remembered back though that in season 1 I could barely get in to it until about episode 3 or 4
I watched the first one and didn't stopped, didn't go back until people told me how much better it got

They slo mo the soft core porn scenes. Each thrust, each grunt is done in slo motion. So silly, it's ridiculous, but I can't get enough.

With all due respect, Andy was great as Spartacus because he looked the part, but I'm not calling him a hell of an actor. The acting in this show is generally pretty awful, but that's got a lot to do with the ridiculous dialogue. It's hard to take any of this show seriously, and that's the same with the acting.
Andy looked the part better than this new guy and yeah, he'll be missed, but I wouldn't describe him as a hell of an actor.
just my opinion though.

You forgot to mention the overall story arc. Maybe I'm blinded by the sex and violence, but I would say the storytelling is really top notch. The plot never bogged down and had twists in all the right places. If anything, I'm afraid that it won't live up to the first season, like prison break.
