Mark Your Calendars: Providence College vs. Boston College
Mark your calendars!
Providence College (home of Flames prospects Mark Jankowski and Jon Gillies) will face Boston College (home of Flames prospects Johnny Gaudreau and Bill Arnold) THREE TIMES during the 2012-13 Hockey East regular season.
They will face each other on Friday, December 7 (in Providence), Friday, March 1 (in Boston) and Saturday, March 2 (in Providence).
And that's presuming they don't face each other in the playoffs, which could easily happen.

i'd like to know too, best bet is probably the ESPNU website assuming that game is televised, it wasn't blacked out during the NCAA championship game.
Unfortunately I think radio feeds are probably what we will be stuck with.

You're mensch, Freeway.
There will be ways to watch the games. Might not be able to discuss how, but you should have no problems.

I will be adding that channel for Feb I guess, thanks jschick.
So any chance those Providence vs. Boston College games will be watchable for us?

2/3 games on the website have the TV icon beside them:
December 7th Boston College @ Providence, 7:00 P.M. local time
March 13th Boston College @ Providence, 7:00 P.M. local time
Both appear to be on a network called 'CoxNE'..
CBS Sports seems to carry quite a few of the games for these teams individually though.. which is a channel available to us.

So I did some more digging... found some dates here to keep an eye on:
Nov. 30
7:30 p.m. Boston College vs. Boston University (NBCSN)
Dec. 1
7:30 p.m. Boston University vs. Boston College (NBCSN)
Feb. 10
4 p.m.Providence vs. New Hampshire (CBSSN)
Feb. 24
4 p.m.Boston College vs. Merrimack (CBSSN)
According to this article:
http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/2012/9/2...ncaa-2012-2013
Cross referenced here:
http://insidecollegehockey.com/1Sche...hedules_tv.htm
And here:
http://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/tvsked.php
So it would appear as though we can watch some Flames prospects on national television.. now this is national in the states, I am wondering what kind of coverage we will get of this up in Canada. I wonder if they will play these NBC Sports Net games on the main channel we all have, or if we have to add an alternate channel?

Boston College
at
Boston University
Day: Friday
Date: Nov. 30, 2012
Location: Boston, Mass.
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Coverage
TV: NBC Sports Network
Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub
Hrm so for Sasktel Max, it doesn't appear as though I have a NBCSN channel, I do however have the option to add the CBS Sports channel which would work for these two games:
Feb. 10
4 p.m.Providence vs. New Hampshire (CBSSN)
Feb. 24
4 p.m.Boston College vs. Merrimack (CBSSN)
Anyone else have any luck with their providers?

I punched in a Calgary postal code for NBC Sports Network and what I got back appears to be for big dish satellite. Satellite provider 4DTV at Channel W5287 and C-Band at Channel G7-21. Even if you have a big dish these are probably subscription channels as from what I understand there isn't much free stuff left on the big dish other than religious programming.

I'll be at the game in Providence next week rocking my new Gaudreaubey Baker shirt. I'll cheer for Jankowski too, but, as a BC alum, I hope to see Gillies get lit up.

Uh oh, first tilt might be short one Flames prospect:
Torie Peterson @ToriePeterson
As per @MarkDivver, Mark Jankowski is questionable for Friday's tilt with Boston College. Sore hip.
