Should be another epic battle between these two tonight. I predict it will go 12 rounds again and could go either way.
Quote:
The first time the two fought, it ended in a draw, although Marquez was thought to have won that one as well. Pacquiao subsequently notched split-decision and majority-decision victories.
None of these fights have come without enduring some serious punishment for the man many consider the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. Marquez has taken Pacquiao the distance in every single bout and is capable of dominant stretches if his opponent is off his game even slightly.
After losing his last fight in one of the most controversial decisions in recent boxing memory to Timothy Bradley, Pacquiao is eager to get back into the ring and prove he is not on the decline, while Marquez is attempting to add a massive feather to his cap in what is already likely a Hall of Fame resume.
So excited for the match tonight. I don't want to anger any MMA fans or compare the two, but there's something just special about a big boxing fight. It draws a much wider audience and they're so far and few between, it's always such a big event.
2 seconds from winning another round and boom, lights out. Not sure why he thought it was a good idea to go after him like that. Broken nose, eye swelling, keep chipping away and winning rounds and take Marquez into the late rounds when the eye closes and his breathing is further hampered. He felt Matinez's power in the 3rd, you'd think he'd be more careful.
Oh well, they can both fade away now like the sport.
Edit, crappy version but it's all I found.
